It’s coming quick! Tucson, I’m coming back!

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be returning to Tucson Comic Con for my second year this Labor Day weekend! I had such a great time last year, and I’m already looking forward to making even more memories this year.

I’ll have plenty of artwork and goodies at my table, including original art, prints, sketchbook covers, copies of my book Lurking Corners, and commissions.

And if you pick up a copy of Lurking Corners, I’ll also be offering head sketches drawn directly on the cover of the book. It’s a fun way to make your copy completely one of a kind.

My sketchbook covers tend to go pretty quickly, so if you’ve had your eye on one, don’t wait too long!

The appreciation continues!

If you stopped by my table at Gathering of the Ghouls this past weekend, THANK YOU! There were so many amazing people who came by to support my artwork, grab a print, get a signature, take a photo, or simply stop and say hello.

PHENOMENAL TURNOUT! 🙌🏻

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my table yesterday for the gatheringoftheghouls limited edition print! What started as a special little print run turned into a monumental success, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.

Seeing everyone’s excitement, appreciation, and huge smiles when they came by for an autograph genuinely meant so much to me. You guys were absolutely awesome.

Here are just a handful of the amazing people who stopped by with their friends. It was such a busy day that I wasn’t able to photograph everyone, but please know that I appreciate every single person who came by.

GATHERING OF THE GHOULS 2026! gatheringoftheghouls

It has been absolutely insane today. I’ve been so busy that this is honestly my first chance to even post a photo of my table!

This has easily been one of the busiest shows I’ve ever done, and I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has stopped by, picked up my artwork, said hello, and supported what I do.

Today kicked off with the first 50 attendees receiving the limited edition Gathering of the Ghouls print I created with Terror Trader It was so cool seeing everyone come by with their prints and stop at my table to get them signed.

And the show is just getting started.

If you haven’t made it out yet, come to Gathering of the Ghouls this weekend! Come be part of the madness, check out all the amazing vendors and artists, hunt for some horror treasures, and come say hello at my table.

Here’s a stripped down variant of my latest Frankenstein commission, inspired by Netflix’s new adaptation.

This version takes the piece back to its roots with black and white ink, focusing on the linework, shadows, and overall atmosphere.

Same piece, completely different feel. I really enjoyed seeing how this illustration translated into a more raw, traditional ink style.

Here’s my latest commission, inspired by Netflix’s new adaptation of Frankenstein.

This piece was created for my buddy Thomas Thomas Christy to gift to his wife for their anniversary. He mentioned how much she loved the new adaptation and how there isn’t much artwork out there that captures the look and feel of this version of the story.

One of my favorite parts of this piece is the background. I decided to incorporate the scene from the film where the Creature is looking at the photograph. Rather than going with a simple or bland background, I felt this moment added another layer to the illustration and helped tell a much bigger story.

This was definitely a challenging piece, but it was an absolute joy to work on. I really enjoyed the process, and I’m incredibly happy with how it came together.

Thank you, Thomas, for trusting me with such a meaningful anniversary gift. It was an honor to bring this one to life! 🤘🏻

The official vendor map is out, and you can find me posted up right next to the Gathering of the Ghouls merch booth!

I’ve got some SPECIAL things in the works for this event!, I’m bringing a whole arsenal of creepy, weird, and horror filled goodness with me.

I’ll have over 60 different character prints available, copies of my book Lurking Corners, original artwork, and HEAD SKETCH COMMISSIONS featuring your favorite horror characters drawn right on the front cover of the book! 🤘🏻

And that’s not all. I’ve got a few surprises I’m working on that I’m keeping under wraps for now. You’re just going to have to come see what I’ve got cooking.

Well, well… look what finally showed up in the mail.

MISCREANT! The Anthology Volume 1. MiscreantMedia

I’m incredibly excited to be one of the many creators featured in this anthology. This project gave me the opportunity to do something so many of you have been asking me about for years.

“Chris, when are you going to draw comic panels?”

Well… here they are.

In all their inked glory.

I was given just two pages because the anthology was already packed with amazing creators, and I wanted to prove that you don’t need dozens of pages to tell a compelling story. My goal was to create a short, atmospheric piece following the inner monologue of an ancient vampire as he prepares to step into the night and feast on the living. It was a fun challenge, and I think it’s amazing how much story can be told in only two pages.

This project means a lot to me because it’s another step forward in my journey as an artist. It shows that I’m not just creating illustrations or covers. I can tell stories, build mood, and bring characters to life through sequential art.

A huge thank you to Eric Williamson for giving me this opportunity and believing in my work. Every project like this pushes me a little further and gets me one step closer to where I want to be.

gatheringoftheghouls is creeping up fast! Join us August 22 and 23 at the Mesa Convention Center for one of Arizona’s premier horror conventions, brought to you by Terror Trader

With spooky season right around the corner, this is the perfect weekend to celebrate with fellow horror fans, collectors, artists, and lovers of all things horror!

I’ll be at gatheringoftheghouls all weekend at my booth featuring signed copies of my book Lurking Corners, original artwork, prints, and other horror themed goodies. I’ll also be doing live commissions, so stop by and watch a custom piece come to life or take home an original drawing made just for you.
