It is with great sadness that I have to post this (this is Lisa Juliet). My dearest friend, sister, dancer, and BFF Andrea Alden lost her son last weekend. A lot of you already know, but some of you don't. Here is a quote from Andrea's post last weekend that I would like to share with you all:
"June 18 is and will always be the worst day of my life. The day my son died by su***de. The day my heart shattered into a million pieces. And I will never not feel this pain. Oh, my son, my sweet baby boy, I know you were in pain. Youโve been suffering for so much of your life. And I am glad you donโt have to hurt anymore. But I donโt know if I can bear your loss. You often asked me if I thought my life would be better or easier without you, and I always said no, because the pain of you no longer being in the world would be unimaginable. And it is. I love you more than you will ever know. I wanted things to be better for you. I am so sorry that I couldnโt make it so. I could not make you believe that it would not always be this hard. I was not always the mother that you needed or deserved, but I hope you left this world knowing that you were loved, not just by me, but by so many."
Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. The service for Evan will be this weekend. Please email me at [email protected] if you would like to attend and I will provide you the information. Also, email [email protected], if you would, like to send your condolences and or donate to one of the charities the family has picked out. We are also planning a meal service for the family in the next coming weeks as well.
WE MISS AND LOVE YOU ALL!
