JDS Creative Academy has reinvented what the City of Temecula recognized as the International Temecula Film and Music Festival into what is now referred to as DigiFestR Temecula. DigiFestR Temecula is a vehicle for the community and region to come together and experience digital media in many creative and artistic forms. DigiFestTM Temecula is also a place to learn about industry advancements, how

to pursue a career in the industry, and how to incorporate digital arts into the economic culture. DigiFest acknowledges talent in the industry at all levels and ages, incorporating 6th-12th graders, amateurs, and professionals. This year's DigiFest was an amazing virtual event with participants enjoying renowned industry speakers, workshops, screenings, and networking all from the comfort of their home. Within the broadcast there were many opportunities to share insights, gain knowledge from our Industry Panelists, and network with other participants all weekend via a ZOOM feature and a Virtual Studio Audience!

It was one of those weekends that quietly reminds you why art matters in the first place.

So many stories, so many artists, all in one place just doing what they love. No big talk needed, the work spoke for itself.

What stood out most was how real everything felt. People showing up with their ideas, sharing even if it wasnโ€™t perfect yet, and still owning it.

Moments like this remind you why you create in the first place.
