49 years in, and the Telluride Jazz Festival is still getting DOWN. 🪩🎷

Modern-day jazz luminaries Lettuce paying tribute to the legendary Miles Davis was the perfect way to cap off this year’s Main Stage performances. What a night!

Big thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s festival unforgettable.

Theo Croker put us into orbit, and Robert Randolph brought us home! 🚀🎺 From trumpet to steel pedal slide, the deep depths of musical styles remind us that jazz was never meant to fit into just one box.

Two supreme trios lived up to all the hype on this beautiful afternoon at the 2026 Telluride Jazz Festival.

The Julian Pollack Trio masterfully blended jazz, hip-hop, fusion, and electronic music, featuring powerhouse drummer Adam Deitch - a clear leader in the 2026 “Most Shows Played At Telluride Jazz” Award.

Adrian Quesada’s Trio Asesino had us grooving with soulful Latin ballads, infectious rhythms, and catchy hooks.

And just like that, Day Two is underway! 🎷⛰️🔥
The Second Line Parade brought the energy straight into Town Park, and the Telluride Student All Stars Jazz Ensemble kicked off the music on the Main Stage in style.
The park is buzzing, and we’ve got a whole lot more music ahead. Let’s do this! 🎶

🌙 Last night was one for the books.

Jazz After Dark kept the music going well into the night with incredible performances from Don Was & The Pan-Detroit Ensemble at the Sheridan Opera House, DTF: Adam Deitch, Teitel, Fribush at The Moon at O'Bannon's, and Theo Croker at The Alibi. Thanks to everyone who came out and kept the celebration going after the festival!

☀️ Welcome to the second and final day of the 49th Annual Telluride Jazz Festival!

Before the music begins in Town Park, don't miss one of our favorite traditions—the New Orleans-style Second Line Parade! 🎺🥁

The parade steps off at 12:30 PM from Elks Park (Telluride Courthouse) at the top of Main Street and winds all the way down Colorado Avenue into Town Park to kick off the day's festivities. Everyone is invited to join in!

The worlds of jam and jazz collided for an incredible evening. 🎶

Don Was & The Pan Detroit Ensemble dug deep into the American songbook, showcasing Don’s incredible repertoire—from The Grateful Dead to Blue Note—and the immaculate musicianship of the band.

The Disco Biscuits powered down and leaned into improvisation, giving a nod to jazz roots while pushing things in a totally progressive direction.

Thanks for an incredible Day One! We’ll see you out there for Jazz After Dark tonight, and bright and early tomorrow for First Note Yoga, the Historical Walking Tour, and the 2nd Line Parade.

The weekend is just getting started. 🎷✨
