After every trip to I usually end up with some homework 🌻 My new project….Rudbeckia Maxima! Such a stunning flower featured in the “idea garden” with sturdy stems up to 7ft tall. After this heat wave I will absolutely be finding some room in my own garden for this gorgeous pollinator🪴

Thrilled with how my house ornament came together (and check out that finishing fabric in the background 😍)

Initially I planned on a little more contrast for the non stone portion….but in real life it’s white on white….so I decided to try to stitch and delineate the siding and bannister instead. The “water and ice” for the windows was somewhat challenging, I think maybe on 13 count canvas it would have gone a little smoother, but the overall impact was fantastic! Finally, the variegated thread on the roof and stone was absolute perfection!

Do I have weeds to pull, emails to respond to and CLE’s to get done? Yes. But at least I finished a cute ornament last night!
