It was Red’s time to fly 💔…

Red had a long life and lived it large every second until the very end. He also, gratefully had a long and fun filled good bye thanks to Elaine and all of his friends in Durango. He got to retire in style, big yard, deck, home cooking, great company, the works ❤️Working retirement albeit , always ready to pose for me, especially with his wife Marge. Red has a posse of cool dogs he got to run with. He always jumped high and never lost hope searching for his other “friends”the porcupines.
Red, Red Bear Redward, Redzie, Poppy or Chunk as he was known had a big personality and a big heart ❤️ He showed up for everyone he met, sometimes his big teeth showed up too! 😳
Red made so many friends along the way, both human and canine, not many the feline type 😳.
Anyone that saw past the growl 😳 knew he had big smile and big love ❤️ behind it!
All dogs are so special especially the abandoned reservation variety. Red was waiting at a gas station for a ride and never looked back … he lived his Telluride and Durango life in style and also got to travel . Red’s first visit to a dog beach was pure joy for him and for me to witness. He LOVED ❤️ and enjoyed so much …
his people, BIGplay, guarding, soaring thru the air, guarding, skijoring, ocean ball fetch, snow tackle, guarding, cheese, cobra strike humor, eating out, testing hotel linens for scratch resistance, gardening(specializing in big holes),
guarding the perimeter, guarding his girls, river walks, watching a blow dry session 💙, guarding a store, posing for the camera, meeting children 💖 and especially meeting a new dog for a high energy romp.
He LOVED❤️Life.
I could go on but won’t.
Red will go on in the hearts of those that knew and loved him…

I love him so much.
I’ll miss his handsome chunky face everyday single day.
