Remember that Community Collaboration mural United Way of Perry County and Tell City Regional Arts completed back in 2023 at JFK Pool? Between rain storms, I’ve been bringing is back to life with a fresh coat of paint 🎨

Even though the pool is closed, that splash pad is open and FREE 💦 my kids had fun! 🤩

Happy to have such an awesome asset right here in town! Thanks Parks and Rec for making it available while the pool repairs continue 🥳

“Mom, can we come paint with you?” They ask every time I leave them with a sitter, but today I said, “sure, why not.”

We quickly found out why not. 😅Thankful for a supportive small town that can accommodate a working momma with two kiddos. Check this one out at the Mulzer office on Mozart and 6th in Tell City.

As May comes to a close I need to take a minute to brag about this beautiful human. Balee, you are so kind and compassionate, and I am grateful to have gotten the chance to know you better.

Taking on an intern is an opportunity to teach work ethic and valuable life skills. It is, for me, a chance to watch character growth and to encourage independent and strong women into the world.

Thank you for sticking with me, as I know I can be an unconventional role model. I cannot wait to see you mature and blossom in the next chapter of your adventures.

I had a meeting approximately four years ago, infant Henry on my lap— and chatted out the concept for this historical mural on the South wall of the Dauby Hardware building on 11th Street. I will share more soon about the design, but for now just 👀 that sign 🪧
