Our Summer Youth League Season Has Come To An End!
This summer consisted of 36 league bowlers and 9 bowlers that signed up for our Introductory To Bowling For Youth program offered for the summer. Our youth were offered free practice bowling for the season or the option to partake in a Have-A-Ball program.

*Outhouse Awards*
Every league season we award the boy and girl the Outhouse Award with the most 111 games. For the first time, we didn't have bowlers with multiple 111 games but we did have the following 6 bowlers that each had a single 111 game and were awarded 6 packs of toilet paper.

*Beat The Coach Tournaments*
We held two Beat The Coach Tournaments in the summer league, one in June & one in July. Bowlers had to compete against a handful of coaches each time where the average of the coach game totals was used as the score to beat. Each bowlers high game of the night was used with 90% handicap added. Each winner was awarded a miniature bowling pin.
June had 9 out of 36 bowlers beat the coach
July had 16 bowlers beat the coach and 2 that tied out of 36 bowlers.
*The Energy Station Ice Cream Challenge Strike Shot*
In July The Energy Station in Harleysville graciously donated 20 free ice cream coupons for us have a strike shot challenge where bowlers were broken up into three groups based on average. Red pins were used and the first 20 bowlers won a coupon. Surprisingly enough, it came down to the 10th frame of the last pair for our 20th winner.
*Rock N' Glow Awards Party*
Our end of season Rock N' Glow party was a success with many parents that volunteered. Youth bowlers were able to win free game coupons for getting a strike with red pin as 1, 7 or 10. Chef Chipper at AAA Catering graciously donated two large hoagie trays, potato salad & macaroni salad. Bowlers also got to enjoy burgers, hotdogs and chicken strips provided by Earl Bowl. A special thanks for all that helped pull the evening together.

We had to say goodbye to our bowlers from the class of 2026. Most of the following youth bowlers have been active bowlers since elementary school. Earl Bowl wishes them all good luck on their futures and hopes to see them continue bowling.
