J & M Dance Center Experienced Professional Instruction, Royal Academy of Dance Registered School OUR GOAL AND VISION is to offer comprehensive and enriching dance classes.

We focus on proper technique, body alignment, control, creativity and an all inclusive dance education. To accomplish this we devote our attention to each dancer and see them as individuals with unique and varing abilities. We are commited to helping each dancer reach their maximum potential and achieve their goals through positive and consistent training. Whether your dancer persues a professional dance career or another profession, we believe that the confidence and skills they learn in our program will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

It’s that time of year…OUR ANNUAL APPAREL ORDER IS HAPPENING NOW!

We have a cute new design for the front and back of our t-shirts and hoodies. We have your favorite purple plaid pajama pants as well as new crew neck sweatshirts, wide leg sweatpants and a dance tote bag!

Order forms are due by 11/2 and orders will be delivered by 12/2. They make great Christmas gifts and can be worn during the Christmas parade.

This past weekend the world lost a bright light when our dear Kelly Baird passed away unexpectedly.

Kelly was the best kind of person there is. She was kind, selfless, genuine, fun and down to earth. She was always the first person there to help with anything and the last person to leave. To know Kelly was to love her and she was loved and cherished by so many.

She was an amazing and loving wife, mother and friend. She did so much for the community of Tehachapi included being PTO President at THS as well as teaching early morning seminary and managing the backstage at our Dance Show every year. She was very active in her church and she has always served those around her with a willing heart and a smile on her face.

Kelly leaves behind three beautiful children, a loving husband and extended family and friends who can’t put into words how much she will be missed.

Kelly did so much for those around her and this Gofundme is a small way we can show her family love and support and help ease their financial burden during this unimaginably difficult time.

We are so excited for our new Adult Dance/Fitness Classes!!!

Our classes are designed for everyone—from absolute beginners to experienced dancers—providing a welcoming and energetic environment for all.

Adult Dance- dance class where we switch up the style every week. Get a taste of all dance styles in this class.

Conditioning/Cardio- fitness class incorporating free weights where we focus on legs, arms, abs and cardio with a little bit of Pilates and dance conditioning mixed in to keep it fun.

Rasa Yoga- dynamic yoga poses to upbeat music incorporating tribal dance movements. This class is so freeing and encourages us feel more comfortable in our bodies.

$65 for an unlimited monthly pass ($50 if you have a dancer enrolled) or $15 drop-in fee.
