River Pretty Writers Retreat River Pretty Writers Retreat is a biannual writing retreat in the Missouri Ozarks.

River Pretty Writers Retreat is a writing intensive program that offers generative workshops in poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, panel discussions and informal talks, as well as faculty and participant readings. You will be led by dedicated writers who are committed to sharing their love of the craft. We believe that when a community of writers come together to create new work, we are able to break through old habits and generate a product that is much stronger and truer than before!

Join us for an Intentional Writing Circle led by Emily and Michael at River Pretty!

Intentional Writing - knowing what you want to bring to your writing and why.

This will be a timed group exercise where you share your “writing intentions.” After sharing individual writing intentions, we will have structured/facilitated writing time. Once time is up, we will share again as a group. Rinse and repeat as necessary or desired.
