What a Weekend.
As the dust settles from the RT16 Rally & Music Festival, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what was accomplished and we’re filled with gratitude.
The compliments have poured in about the music, the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the sense of community that was felt throughout the event. Seeing people gathered together, enjoying great music, supporting local businesses, exploring our mountains, and creating memories is exactly why we do this. I hope this grows to fill our streets and all Main Street wins.
Events like this don’t happen because of one person. They happen because of dedicated teams working toward a common vision.
A heartfelt thank you to Back of the Dragon, Virginia and Uncharted Adventures We couldn’t have asked for better partners. Their passion, professionalism, and commitment helped make this event something truly special.
Most of all, I’m incredibly proud of our nonprofit and the volunteers who gave their time, energy, and heart to make this weekend a success. Every parking attendant, every vendor coordinator, every person behind the scenes, every musician, and every supporter played a part.
This festival was about more than Motorsports, music, or a weekend gathering. It was about showcasing the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Appalachia and reminding people why this region is such a special place.
Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, sponsored, and believed in the vision.
We’re already looking forward to what comes next. 2027 strong!!
