☔️🌧️Fall Brawl Postponed💧🌧️

Tonight’s Fall Brawl & Championship Night has been postponed to October 17. It’s still raining in TazVegas and the lower pits is a mud bowl. Even if the sun was to come out today we would be fighting to get the track and lower pits in shape.

The Fall Brawl & Championship Night will now be on Saturday, October 17. Our good friends at Smoky Mountain Speedway have a Topless Outlaws event on October 10 and we don’t wanna step on their toes. We invite you to visit them next Saturday.

Enjoy the weekend with your family and friends and we’ll see you on October 17!

This morning the East Tennessee Dirt Racing community lost one of it’s best as Toney Wheeler passed away in his sleep after a lengthy illness. Toney’s father was one of the very first drivers to compete at Volunteer Speedway. Toney began his racing career in the early 80s, competing in the 6 Cylinder class at Volunteer & Newport Speedways. After hanging up his helmet Wheeler fielded cars for his nephew Taran Hurst and his close friend Rex Coffey. Toney was a frequent visitor at Tazewell Speedway, especially for our big events. He will be remembered for his friendly demeanor and racing stories. All of us at Tazewell Speedway send our condolences to Toney’s friends and family.
