There seems to be a lot of hate going around in this small town lately. 😕 So as a reminder, Tazewell Tattoo has NEVER and will NEVER tolerate any form of: sexual harassment, racism, gender identity discrimination, sexual preference discrimination, or any form of negativity or discrimination! We strive for our shop environment to be peaceful and welcoming, and there will be no tolerance for anyone disrupting that. If anyone has a problem with that, then we highly encourage you find a different shop. 🙌🏻🙂

Good Monday afternoon everyone! 🙂🙌🏻 We hope everyone is having a good start to their week.

We get asked often what is some things we can recommend for keeping tattoos bright and vibrant, so posted below is just a few things that can help. 👇🏻

-SUNBLOCK! We know everyone loves a good sun-kissed and tan summer, but I can promise you those uv rays is not doing anything good for your ink.

-Avoiding tanning beds! Tanning beds are great, expect for when it comes to the longevity of your tattoo’s appearance.

-Daily moisturizer! Let’s be honest, we all get dry skin from time to time and it makes your tattoos look ashy. Why not help avoid that completely by applying a little love to your skin?!

-Getting touch ups when needed! Tattoos are always going to fade and expand under the skin no matter how well you take care of them. Your body naturally begins breaking down the ink molecules starting day 1 of your tattoo since ink is a “foreign object”. So it’s completely normal to need a touch up over the years to help keep them looking bright and vibrant.

The only artist we have here currently is our owner Jirell Martinez, his wife Sarah Elizabeth Martinez, husband and wife Kayla Saylor and Jake Saylor, and of course Dylan Ensor!
