IMPORTANT AQUATIC CENTER UPDATE

Please plan ahead! Our Aquatic Center will close Friday, September 4th at 12:00 PM for required maintenance and mandatory updates.

At this time, the reopening date is TBD. We’ll keep everyone updated and share reopening information as soon as it becomes available.

Member Spotlight: Kathy Knope

For 40 years, Kathy Knope has been a valued member of the Christian County YMCA. She brought her three children to the Y throughout their childhood, where they participated in youth programs, played sports such as soccer, and learned how to swim. Today, all three are grown and proudly serving in the military.

Kathy continues to stay active at the Y by participating in our aquatic fitness classes. She loves that the classes keep her moving, give her an opportunity to socialize, and are led by wonderful instructors.

Although Kathy has also enjoyed our land-based fitness classes, she says aquatic exercise has become gentler on her joints as she has gotten older while still providing a great workout. Best of all, she feels amazing after every class.

Thank you, Kathy, for making the Christian County YMCA part of your family’s story for the past 40 years. We are grateful to have you as part of our Y family!

The Christian County YMCA is once again taking over the **Kids Zone at Chilifest October 3rd & 4th! And we need an AMAZING team of volunteers to help make it unforgettable for the kids!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
Face Painting Pumpkin Decorating
Games & Activities
Helping keep the Kids Zone fun, safe & running smoothly!

You don’t have to volunteer all day! Choose a timeframe that works for you and come spend a little time helping us create BIG smiles and great memories.
