Hello weekend!! Cakes and cookies and pies, oh my!! Can’t wait to share today’s birthday cake!! Still have room for a couple more Thanksgiving orders ~ pies, cheesecakes, pumpkin rolls and cakes!! Not to mention ~ dinner rolls!! You show up with these and you’ll never have to bring anything else but them to the family dinner!! Hope you all have a beautiful day!!

Fri-YAY!! Witchy woman and her cat are warming their bones, literally, by the fire this morning but it’s going to be another beautiful day!! Get out and enjoy!! Stop by Jac n Jill bakery and, to be honest, just order one of everything ~ you won’t be disappointed. Then take your coffee across the street to The Lavender Pickle. Pumpkins, mums and produce, oh my!! But don’t delay it you don’t stop in today because just like Mike Linning’s they are closed for the season on November 1st!! Hope you all have a beautiful day!!

Good day before Friday morning. Loving the vintage Halloween cookies this year. Finally, something that’s older than me!!
But I’ve met my goals for today, so… so far so good!! After that burger last night though the rising and shining was going to be questionable. Tuesday. Well, I probably would quit my job, if I had one, so I could focus on Halloween!! Spooky cute or spooky scary ~ makes no difference whatsoever!! Decorations, cookies ~ who cares!! Monday. I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything!! And, yes, she’s kneeling on the counter!! So much has come and gone ~ kids playing outside until the porch lights come on, everyone at the dinner table at 6 every night, quiet Sundays spent at home or visiting family and friends ~ home cooked meals, hand made gifts and a garden full of freshness!! Thursday. Today I choose happy!! Leaves are turning and Fall is in full swing!! Football, festivals and comfort food!! And the big question seems to be who makes the best chili?!?
