Each Baron at can summon two archers to their retinue. These warriors play the role of English Longbowmen dealing damage from a distance. Forget about them for a moment and you will end up with an arrow in your ribs!

This All Saints Day we remember and celebrate the life of Saint Roberto the Good, Patron Saint of Hayburn Abbey. Saint Roberto exemplified, kindness, generosity and cheerfulness even in the most difficult circumstances. His writ of canonization was delivered by the papal legate earlier this year along with a triptych designed by sister Margaret and sent from Rome.

Robert Buniel was an amazing player at our event and served in the Lincoln Castle Barony. His love for his fellow men, his servant’s heart and willingness to serve others will always be remembered. After his passing he is remembered in our game as the patron saint of our abbey. No man would be better suited to provide an example to our community. War of the Barons has brought hundreds of people together from across the world. And people like Robert impact our lives in a way that keep us coming back. We look forward to fighting, feasting and reveling with you all again in February.
