Put the finishing touches on three mesquite cutting boards and they are looking for new homes. Message me if you are interested. I used real turquoise for the inlay with and honestly was not to impressed with it. I like working with more because I have had much better results. Neither company has sponsored me or sent me any free product but letting whomever reads know my honest opinion. If either company wants to send me products to use I will gladly be willing to test it out and provide feedback. makes probably the best food grade finish I have used. They haven't given me anything to say how wonderful there product is. Their product is simply absolutely amazing and I love using it on my finished work. If I didn't like it I wouldn't shout it out nor would I use it.

These are some shelves I made for a friend and my wonder sister. It is amazing what you can do with a little motivation and some scrap materials salvaged from a construction dumpster.

This is an ulu knife that I made from an old saw blade. The handle is oak and it turned out very nice. The mesquite cutting board has an opal inlayed in it. The entire project turned out great.

Life has been challenging lately and I have failed to post anything for some time now. I acquired some copper sheeting a while back and in looking for what to do with it I came across some pictures of foreged copper spoons and such that led me to how to videos on youtube. After watching a few videos and getting more knowledge on the art of copper forging from the YouTube page I decided to give it a go myself. This is the result my first time forging copper. I used homemade copper rivets to join the handle and spoon. I had a hard time getting the rivets right so I brazed the back of it so it would hold better and not rattle. I then turned a handle for my spoon using a pretty piece of mesquite that I had laying around the shop. I then glued the spoon into the handle with some 5 minute epoxy with chrysocolla mixed in. Let me know what you think. If you like it feel free to share.

I had a request for a razor kit made out of metal. I accepted the challenge and this is the creation. I used aluminum with a brass piece on the brush. It took much longer than expected but it was a good challenge.
