Join us this Wednesday for the next Empowerment Within You workshop: Cruise, Create & Reflect - Then Drive Forward!

Participants will design personalized car coasters featuring positive messages, reminders, and inspiration to carry with them wherever the road leads. It's a unique opportunity to combine creativity, reflection, and self-expression while creating something you'll use every day.

🎨 Artist Spotlight: Anthony Ferrara 🎨

Anthony Ferrara is an artist for life - and his body of work proves it. A retired fashion designer whose clothing has been worn by icons including Kim Kardashian and Lenny Kravitz, Anthony brings a lifetime of creative mastery to Trescott Street Gallery. His work spans an impressive range of mediums: metal mesh, stained glass, ceramics, and wearable art - each piece stunning, unique, and unmistakably his own.

A dedicated TSG member, Anthony submits work for exhibit throughout the year, and this month you can experience his artistry across all three of his visual mediums in our June exhibit, Shared Lines. In his own words, Anthony also reflects on the connections and influences that have shaped his art over the years - a perspective as layered and rich as the work itself.

What a morning at Mill River Park!

Wednesday’s ribbon cutting for the StoryWalk permanent installation was everything we hoped it would be – a true celebration of what happens when a community comes together around a shared idea.

A huge thank you to Mayor O’Connell for joining us, and to our incredible partners: Taunton Public Library , City of Taunton Park and Recreation , and City of Taunton Department of Public Works . Special shoutout to Billy and Dan at DPW, who did the hands-on work of installing the permanent panels – you made it real.

This project has been a labor of love from the start, and watching families walk through the park and read along together made every step worth it. That’s what it’s all about.

The current story is The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle – head over to Mill River Park and take a walk! Our goal is to feature 1-2 new stories per month year-round, weather permitting, so there’s always a reason to come back.

The StoryWalk is part of the Downtown Riverwalk & Heritage Trail – just follow the blue bootprints. The 3/4 mile StoryWalk Loop is perfect for families with young children, and the full trail stretches 3 miles through downtown Taunton. Trail maps can be viewed at four community boards located at the corner of Trescott & Main, Seeley Park across from the Taunton Green, in front of Taunton Public Library, and behind City Hall near the entrance to the City Walk.

Public/private partnerships like this one are what make Taunton special. Simple, joyful, and free – this one belongs to everyone.

This project was supported in part by a grant from the Taunton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Additional funding provided by the Taunton Public library, and Downtown Taunton Foundation.

Get ready for four incredible evenings of live music in the heart of Downtown Taunton! Join us at Liberty & Union Park from 7–9 PM for a summer filled with great music, community, and fun.

🎨 Shared Lines is On View Through June 27 🎨

If you haven't had a chance to visit yet, there's still time to experience Shared Lines: Art, Influence & Creative Connection at Trescott Street Gallery.

This special exhibit explores the people, relationships, and experiences that shape our creativity and leave lasting marks on our lives. Through paintings, sculptures, mixed media works, and personal artist statements, visitors are invited to discover the stories and connections behind the artwork.

One of the most meaningful aspects of this exhibit is the collaboration between artists and the loved ones, peers, and mentors who inspired them. The result is an exhibit that celebrates not only art, but the relationships that make creativity possible.

Whether you're an art lover, looking for a unique outing, or simply curious to see what local artists have created, we invite you to stop by before the exhibit closes on June 27.

It is with a warm and grateful heart that we announce the Trescott Street Gallery Gift Shoppe will be permanently closing on Saturday, June 27.

We want to extend our deepest thanks to every artist, maker, and vendor who shared their talents with us, and to every customer who stopped in to shop, browse, discover something special, and support local creativity. The Gift Shoppe was created to celebrate local artists and connect our community with unique, handcrafted goods, and we are incredibly proud of what we built together.

There is still time to stop by before June 27 and support these talented local makers one last time. Whether you're looking for a unique gift, a piece of local art, or something special for yourself, we invite you to come in and explore.

Many of our vendors can still be found throughout the community, including:
