We're getting ready for The Tarrytown Street Fair today! The Music Hall Academy and Westchester Dance Artist students will perform today from 10am-5pm in front of the Veterans Memorial Building at 57 Main Street, Tarrytown. Up first: Aerial Silks students.

The nonprofit Tarrytown Music Hall purchased the abandoned Veterans Memorial Building in December 2025 with the purpose of establishing an additional center for performing arts education. The Hillcrest Theater, as the building was originally called, was built in 1912 as a movie theater and acquired in the 1920's by Robert Goldblatt, who also operated The Music Hall. He donated the building to the Veterans in the 1950's and then after a while, it stopped being used. Now, the theater has been reunited with The Music Hall and we are making plans for its restoration and reopening as a cultural hub on lower Main Street. Super Trouper (1980) is the seventh studio album by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It topped charts across Europe, although it reached only #17 on the Billboard 200. ABBA shot to stardom following their 1974 win in the Eurovision Song Contest, with "Waterloo". During their peak, ABBA comprised two married couples: Agnetha Fältskog/Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson/Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Super Trouper was the last album to be recorded while Lyngstad and Andersson were married.

Jade as Wednesday and Benji as Pugsley in The Addams Family in Spanish at The Tarrytown Music Hall Academy. The show is in tech week now - this is the first time that the 5th-12th graders are working with the costumes, mics, scenery, props and pit musicians.

The musical, sung and acted all in Spanish by students from all over Westchester, is directed by Broadway professionals Lauryn Ciardullo and Evy Ortiz, and will be performed on Thursday, June 4 for school groups and 10am and for the general public at 7pm at The Music Hall. Tickets are free of charge.
