Good news!

I’ve gotten word that the evacuation order has been lifted, and we are officially clear to reopen!

I will take my appointments for tomorrow at JPs place, Giant Robot Factory, and will be preparing to be back to normal business Thursday. I know it’s been confusing, and I really appreciate all the kindness I’ve received as we navigated this unique situation.

As I’ve always said, and will stand behind any and every day, I have the best clients, friends, and support system a person can have!

Can’t wait to get back to normal again! If you’ve been rescheduled, I’ll be calling to set new days as soon as I’m back to the shop!

UPDATE - please read to the end, it’s a lengthy one.

The shop is still closed until the city and the associated engineers figure out what they have to do. Needless to say it’s pretty frustrating. I’m calling for daily updates and putting as much pressure as I can for answers.

Thankfully, Jp Peterson has been kind enough to open his shop up to us for the time being, so I will be taking my appointments at Giant Robot Factory in Freeport starting Wednesday. I will be calling my appointments with the updates. If you need rescheduled, I can give you a call to talk options once I know a bit more.

Thank you all for your patience as we shake out what the near future looks like. Hopefully we can be back in our location and regularity soon.

Building update: after talking with city officials, the shop will be closed the rest of the week to give engineers and construction crews time to stabilize the building next door.

They are hopeful that business can resume next Tuesday, but time will tell. Thank you all for your patience as this matter is resolved in the safest way possible for everyone.

Thank you everyone for the concern this morning regarding the partial collapse of the building next door. Upon inspection, the shop is undamaged and as soon as I get some updates on road closures, I’ll let everyone know.

We are closed today as we are trying to find some answers. If your appointment is affected, I will personally reach out to you. Hopefully we will be back in business ASAP.
