The wedding industry isn’t for the fair of heart. Being able to stay calm when things don’t go according to plan is essential if the goal is to bring a good experience to the couple. Knowing when to pivot, when to ask for help and how to problem solve to keep the day going is something that I value as much as knowing how to take amazing cinematic photos of you. With so much going on, it’s important to know that your wedding vendors have your back so you can enjoy your day and know that whatever happens, we have your back.

By now it’s pretty clear that my work is not for everyone. But for the people who linger on a light beam spilling over the kitchen sink, or savor a moment of solitude in a crowd, the people who sink their teeth into their favorite color, or get goosebumps on the exact moment a good song becomes transcendent, if you experience beautiful moments in slow motion and you want someone to capture it too, my work is for you.

This is what I mean when I say cult cinematic. It’s not a technique like it’s a sensory experience.

I met a couple who flew to Pittsburgh from New York for their wedding because the aesthetic we have here at home is so distinct, they needed it to be here.

That is exactly the kind of energy that I merged with the Hong Kong Pre wedding photo style dominating pinterest boards of alt brides.

I've been refining a specific kind of session over the last couple of years that is a mix of Hong Kong Cinema and Industrial Pittsburgh inspiration. Mixing, the atmosphere of the Hong Kong Style, with the rust belt mystique of Pittsburgh.
