I worked as a kid at Premier Talent from 1986-1996 then was added to their roster in 1996 when I “went for it” on my 4th indie release “Mirrors, Shoestrings & Credit Cards”. That roster included Bruce, Tom Petty, Leonard Cohen, U2, Bon Jovi, Santana, Van Halen, Journey, Suzanne Vega, The Replacements to name a few :)

Brooklyn Music Shop’s Final Show!

It has been an honor and privilege to host this series! Thank you all for supporting us all of these years! You - all of the performers and fans - are what made these shows so much fun! I hope you will join us as we do it one more time!

Joe D’Urso joins us on June 6 to close the Brooklyn Music Shop’s Homestead concert series! We are excited to welcome Joe, a long time friend and frequent performer as he delivers an energetic, heartfelt performance as our last show!

Showcasing his great songwriting and powerful performance skills, he will put on a show that will long be remembered! Joining Joe for an opening set is Allie Kenny, a young singer/songwriter with a beautiful voice. Her songs are melody-driven, built around vocal harmonies and lyrics pulled from real experiences—often introspective with moments of wit.

As of today, I am officially the Father/Dad of two College Graduates! My daughter’s childhood filled my mind during the ceremony as did thoughts of my parents and my immigrant grandparents who 100 years ago were looking for a better life for themselves and the family they would soon start. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Promises of a better life fulfilled…🇮🇹🙏🥰🎶
