There’s a lot of conversation around “sound healing” right now—

but not always a lot of clarity.

These are a few principles I’ve been working with that are grounded in how we actually perceive and respond to sound.

Nothing mystical—just understanding how rhythm, tempo, texture, and structure influence the nervous system and experience over time.

When these elements are aligned, the depth of an experience can shift in a noticeable way.

I’ve been exploring this more deeply in the context of facilitation, breathwork, and transformational work.

Curious what stands out to you here.

Not all relaxation is about fully shutting down.

Sometimes it’s about finding a calm, open state—
where the body can settle while awareness stays present.

This piece was designed for that space.

There’s a difference between music that sounds good…

and music that actually supports the depth of an experience.

A lot of facilitators already put real intention into what they choose—and it shows.

But sometimes, even with a great playlist, something doesn’t quite land the way you expect.

That gap is subtle.

And it often comes down to how the sound is structured over time.

This is what I’ve been diving deeper into lately—how sound can be shaped to support the full arc of a session, from opening to integration.

Curious how others approach this in their work.

I’ve been making music for a long time.

But more recently, my focus has been shifting.

Less about creating tracks on their own…
and more about how sound shapes experience.

I’ve become really interested in how music influences:
emotional depth, nervous system states, and the ability to let go.

Especially in spaces like breathwork, meditation, and other forms of facilitation.

So I’ve been moving toward designing sound in a more intentional way—

not just as something to listen to,
but something that supports the full arc of an experience.

From guided meditations to full ecstatic dance journeys.

This space is going to be an exploration of that:

• sound journeys
• creative process
• and the relationship between sound and the human experience

If you’re working in this space—or just curious about it—glad you’re here.

More to come.

Loving this studio chapter.
Putting in time on my own music while supporting other artists through their creative process is something I don’t take for granted.
Grateful for the trust, the collaboration, and the work.
