Just got back from finishing "Cuchara Cabin Memories" (18x24) on location. At least six generations of family who cherish(ed) this peaceful place nestled in the pine-covered mountains. 💙💚

IN PROGRESS: Need another winter painting for our 2027 calendar, so I've started this one. Only about 30% but loving the feel of it. Going to have a wintry, moody sky with low clouds I think. 💙

CHILE TIME! Grabbed two more bags coming into the gallery (before they ran out of "medium" ... again). Going back to Super Save to roast it. Four bags so far, and we're just getting started. 😀💚🌶️

Finished "Morphy Lake" (30x40). Has a team of horses drawing a dirt spreader - how they did it way back when. We used to go up there to camp and fish. Such a serene mountain lake. 💛

Went to Gwen's family cabin to fish & sketch, and a BEAR came! Was down the drive for a distant view - bear went on the porch, grabbed our chips and plopped down in front for a picnic. Wow... Might put him in the paintings. 😃

Finished "Firelight" (24x30). This one took me on a journey, and I kept tinkering with it - wanted the mood and spirituality to be right for our sacred Taos Pueblo. 💙💜

Just finished "Corazon de Córdova" (24x30). Along the high road between Taos and Santa Fe, a small village of families who have a deep roots and histories. 💜
