My oldest fell in love with my quilted jeans. He had actually been asking me for some time to do something similar to a pair of his jeans. After a successful transformation of my own, we came up with a plan for a one-of-a-kind pair of jeans for him. I have been saving old ripped up jeans with a certain Quilt in mind. I sacrificed some of them to make these jeans for him. Simply cutting off the pant legs and cutting them info strips, they were then serged together to form the wedges. He did the hard work of ripping out the side seams of his jeans to accommodate the wedge.

He and I both love them. And what is way cooler then the jeans themselves, is the fact that he loves them so much he wore them proudly for his first day of school. That makes this momma proud! What do you think?!?
