+ Repost Big Bliss + arrested tonight - you can see a video of what happened on NYC Democratic Socialists of America - the post about taking bikes. Was just grabbed out of a march after trying to get the crowd to ignore the cops (they were swarming and filming another similar arrest). I’m home and good now. The march I was in was later violently dispersed/beaten/arrested. It was peaceful as could be, it was an hour after curfew. Thousands of people and absolutely no violence until the counterprotestors (NYPD) showed up. I am livid, of course. You should be too. Tell your family and friends who only see looting and violence on TV that is NOT what is happening here. They need to know. I’ve got lots of videos of this protest just before being arrested that will prove it. Stay safe. Remain peaceful. Black Lives Fu***ng Matter
