A PRAYER FOR INTERNATIONAL NON-BINARY WEEK

International Non-Binary People’s Day is observed each year on July 14. The date was chosen for being precisely between International Men’s Day and International Women’s Day. We celebrate our beloved non-binary siblings with this prayer written by Rev. Emily E. Ewing:

God Beyond Gender,
Praise to you in the diversity of your creation! We give you thanks for the many ways you break us out of binaries and lead us into a fuller rainbow of your love. As we celebrate non-binary people this week, make us mindful not only of the ways they make the world better, but also the ways we can make the world better for them. In your many names we pray, Amen.

Safe is a human right and we won't debate it. We already know that this potential ruling will not end abortion. It will increase criminalization, especially toward Black and Indigenous abortion seekers, and cause harm.
