Introducing our last artist and founder of The Locale Favorites:

A resident of Tampa Bay and an active gigging musician, Mwiza is a singer-songwriter with an Indie sound that encapsulates R&B, Folk, Rock, and Spanish tones for an alternative resonance all his own. His creations are heart-led, bypassing trendy beats to quench the thirst of those who seek music with meaning. It is this introspective, honest aspect of his music that most resonates with his fan base.

Now introducing our featured Rapper for the Day 🔥🔥🔥

J.Larry’s love for hip-hop predates his actual participation in the art, and this is likely what gave him such an advantage when first starting out. His named influences consist of J. Cole, Phontè, Nas, and Black Thought; and this exclusive list of legends is a testament to J.Larry’s hip-hop acumen. Parallel to the aforementioned rappers, J.Larry emphasizes creating a genuine connection with any listener that his music reaches. Of course, he desires all the mainstream accolades that come with being a successful performing artist; but more important to J.Larry is gaining the respect and reverence of any and everybody who gives an ear to hip-hop. He doesn’t want to be remembered for how much money he made or how much jewelry he flossed, but for the way he changed lives with his pen.

To this day J.Larry has released two albums – “These Thingz Take Time” and “On A Good Day” – and his latest offering, an EP titled “Yesterday’s Tomorrow.” While the hip-hop soundwaves have become oversaturated with redundancy, J.Larry vows to stay devoted to the notion of providing quality over quantity, and remains committed to putting out music that will outlive his natural-born life. With the trajectory he’s on, J.Larry has the potential to be remembered as one of the greatest writers to ever do it. Through and through, J.Larry is an ultra-confident emcee who lives and breathes everything about hip-hop culture and its roots; making him the ideal candidate to represent the most influential music genre in the world.

Join us in introducing the songwriting virtuoso

Stetson, a Tampa native, has been passionate about music since he was 12 years old when he picked up his first guitar. He has since become a guitarist, singer, and songwriter who uses music as a medium to express his art. Stetson’s musical journey began with his family’s stories and their love for music. Although he didn’t spend much time with them in his youth, their influence inspired him to carve his own path into music.

At the age of 15, Stetson started his own band called The Dust Factory with his good friend Mark Bowen. They played music all across Florida with their unique blend of genres like grunge, punk, jazz, blues, and progressive. Over the years, Stetson has played a variety of genres and worked with several different local projects and talents in the Tampa Bay Area.

Currently, Stetson writes, performs, and produces for the band along with his close friend . With his passion for music and dedication to his craft, Stetson continues to take the steps to share his art with the world.
