An unforgettable evening in support of our ocean. 🌊💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 3rd Annual World Ocean Day Soirée, presented by The Yerrid Foundation. Together, more than 300 guests helped raise a record amount of support for conservation initiatives that protect marine wildlife and the ecosystems we all depend on.

The evening was especially meaningful as we gathered in our outdoor plaza - the future site of the next phase of our Sea Change capital campaign. This transformative expansion will bring a new habitat for an expanded colony of African penguins to The Florida Aquarium, creating inspiring opportunities for more than one million annual guests to connect with and learn about this endangered species.

Thank you to our supporters, sponsors, and guests for helping advance our shared purpose of saving wildlife. We look forward to celebrating with you again next year.✨

We're celebrating Sea Turtle Week! 🐢🌊

This season, our Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center has cared for 22 juvenile green sea turtles, many of which arrived suffering from the effects of cold-stunning events. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care and rehabilitation, these resilient turtles are making remarkable progress. 💙

We're also proud to have recently partnered with to successfully release one of our rehabilitated sea turtles back into the ocean. 🌊✨

*To note: All sea turtle rehabilitation work conducted by The Florida Aquarium is done with the approval of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) under conditions not harmful to marine turtles and authorized under conservation activities pursuant to FWC MTP-26-179.

*All marine turtle footage taken in Florida was obtained with the approval of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) under conditions not harmful to marine turtles. Footage was acquired while conducting authorized conservation activities pursuant to FWC MTP-25/26-172.
