Hey y’all. Remember us? 👀 We’re 4 today! 🎂🥳

On May 4, 2017 we held our first event, terroir001 : starter at C.1949 Florida Beer Garden featuring all local composers, performers, and beers. Since then we’ve held a bunch of events and had so many wonderful collabs with musicians, chefs, and brewers alike.

We can’t believe that folks STILL remember today is our birthday despite the fact that we’ve been on hiatus for obvious reasons. We just wanted to let y’all know that we’re still cooking up big ideas for Terroir to continue in both physical and digital spaces. 👀

But for now, we want to extend all of our love and gratitude to all y’all that have made and continue to make Terroir possible. Every time we spot a Terroir t-shirt, pint glass, etc. in the wild, we get so happy to see the community we’re building with y’all, near and far.

Stay tuned. We’ll be back! 🍻🎶

We’re super excited that Creative Loafing Tampa has given us a Best of the Bay Award!! It’s not every day that you get recognized for Best Weird Fruit, but we’re happy that terroir007: digital juice, our collaboration with Hidden Springs Ale Works and Null-state, Inc. get this shout. We loved this concert and as always, are super grateful for all the love Creative Loafing Tampa and Ray Roa has given us. Cheers, y’all! 🍻✨🎶

"After selling out its February 13 event, Terroir New Music returns with a free show happening at the same time as Tampa Bay Beer Week. Terroir009 celebrates the idea of adjunct (in brewing, “adjunct” refers to any unmalted grain or other fermentable ingredient used in the brewing process, such as rice or corn, and even honey, syrups, and numerous other sources of fermentable carbohydrates)."

Check it; here's what you can expect Monday night:

1) Wake Up Dead (Left Hand Brewing Company) - Nitro Imperial Stout - 10.2% ABV

2) Apricot Sour (Avery Brewing Company) - Dark Sour Ale - 7.3% ABV

3) Barnacled Manatee (Walking Tree Brewery, Vero Beach, FL) - Barleywine - 9.2% ABV

4) Get Down P-Town (Hourglass Brewing, Longwood, FL) - Florida Weisse - 4.2% ABV

5) Double Secret Probation - (Hidden Springs Ale Works, Tampa, FL) - New England Pale Ale - 5.5% ABV

6) 420 Strain G13 IPA (SweetWater Brewing Company) - New England IPA - 6.0% ABV

7) La Luzerne (Central State Brewing) - Sour Farmhouse Ale - 5.0% ABV

8) Unholy (Coppertail Brewing Co, Tampa, FL) - Belgian Tripel - 9.2% ABV

9) Space Bloody Orange (Ace Premium Craft Cider) - Cider - 6.9% ABV

Admission, of course, is FREE; beers may be purchased from the bar. We recommend that you grab taster-size pours (5 oz.) for each piece, which will total $26 (for nine beers!) - but you can also come and simply enjoy the music, and drink whatever you'd like!

We're looking forward to welcoming Some Assembly Required to Tampa for Terroir009: Adjunct!

"Mixed chamber ensemble Some Assembly Required began in early 2015 as a collaborative effort between Boston professional and freelance artists to provide their audience with a unique musical experience, frequently venturing into repertoire that is rarely heard in public performance."

They'll be performing music for brass, with and without electronics, paired with locally-brewed beer. See you there Monday night! 🍻
