Theatre Tampa Bay is a nonprofit organization designed to promote and raise the profile of professional theater in the Tampa Bay Area. The organization provides advocacy and a central “one-stop shopping” website to include press night coordination, a community bulletin board, an aggregated calendar, discount tickets for members, a theater guide, joint promotion opportunities, among other services.

Tomorrow is Unifieds and TTB is so excited for ThinkTank to be in attendance!! They just announced a show in partnership with Tampa Rep, but they have many exciting things to announce later this year! 🤩

“ThinkTank looks forward to continuing its mission of producing thought-provoking, awe-inspiring, and forward-thinking theatre for young audiences and their families while inspiring a sense of adventure, creativity, and curiosity in our community.

Jobsite wanted to share the following with all of you auditionees! ⬇

Jobsite is excited to welcome Tampa Bay area performers to Unifieds for 2026-27 season consideration! We will get first looks at folks for casting consideration during these auditions, and this is the only in-person general audition we participate in. We are casting for our annual Shakespeare production, two contemporary straight plays, and an exciting multidisciplinary play with music (not a musical, casting priority for this show is for performers who can quickly go from bold character to bold character).

We understand auditonees may choose from different audition formats within their time limit and that different companies attending may be looking for very different things, but we recommend that distinct, strong, contrasting choices be made to distinguish your pieces whether you choose to perform a song and a monologue or two monologues. We encourage performers interested in our Shakespeare production to perform a piece in pentameter (rather than a piece in his prose or two contemporary monologues).

Please note: Unifieds are the only day of general in-person auditions Jobsite participates in. If you wish to be considered for the 2026-27 we strongly urge you to make an appointment. If you are unable to come in that day we will accept a video audition if received by 6pm the day of Unifieds, but stress our preference is to see folks in person — it is the best way to set yourself up for a callback.

Callbacks for the individual shows are by invitation only and will occur July into early August, typically on Monday nights.

1. Ensure your TTB Membership is UP TO DATE! To be able to audition, you must have an active membership.

2. Check our socials leading up to Unified to see which companies are attending - this can help you pick out the best pieces and look to audition with. Show up like the STAR you are, with materials that cater to roles fit for YOU!

3. Prepare your materials! Rehearse like your life depends on it - we hope it doesn't actually, but in this climate, who knows... We want you to come in CONFIDENT!

Meet TTB!

Alli Bica is our social media chair! Originally from Michigan, she first fell in love with theater when her mom showed her The Phantom of the Opera. Throughout high school, she participated in her school’s productions. Then, during covid times, moved to Tampa to get her Bachelor’s of Arts in Theatre from UT. Since graduating, Alli has been heavily involved with two of TTB’s member companies - Powerstories and Stageworks. She has done several different roles, from acting to stage managing to running the sound board. Alli has made so many valuable connections in the theater community here and joined TTB to continue to build those relationships, and in hopes of bringing a new life to TTB. Truly, she just enjoys being involved in theater in any capacity and making silly little content posts. Thank you for entrusting her in this role 🫡

Meet TTB!

Jade Madison Scott is the TTB secretary and a local writer and producer. As a child her love for theater was stoked in the Patel Conservatory. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Howard University's Theater Arts Administration program, she began her production company, WGC Productions. The company's flagship show, Small Victories, was nominated for the 2024 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Scripted Podcast. These days she is focused on creating interactive entertainment experiences in Tampa Bay.

Meet Pickles! He loves to sunbathe and catch toy birds. The most important thing to him, though, is food; don't be late with his dinner, or you'll never hear the end of it. Pickles decided to take over Theatre Tampa Bay and run everything himself!
Well, just for today... after today is over, he said he's going back to the scratching post! 😅🐈‍⬛
