Jansen Dance Project Located in New Tampa, Jansen Dance Project (JDP) is a performing arts training studio.

Jansen Dance Project is an institution of teacher-leaders who work together to create a well-balanced, motivating, caring environment for all students and where children feel valued for their individual strengths and gifts. JDP takes pride in sharing a commitment and responsibility for educating our students and preparing them for a lifetime of learning going beyond dance and movement. We are a tr

aining facility where our students come first by offering a safe and positive atmosphere for children and adults to explore the art of movement. Our instructors are among the best in Tampa including current company members of Collective Soles Dance Company and other professional companies and universities around the country. Jansen Dance Project is also home to the Collective Soles Arts Group which is our not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through involvement in the performing arts though our Youth Ensembles and Professional Dance Company plus the Moving To Read literacy through movement program. And that's a wrap on the 23rd Season of JDP! 🎉

We finished our CSYE performances of Anything Goes this past weekend and wanted to highlight the work of our students in the production.

Thank you to all of our JDP students, parents, and staff for all your hard work this entire season! We cannot wait to see you all at summer camps or in the fall! 🎭

Tickets for our CSYE Spring Dance Concert are on sale NOW! 🎟️ The theme for our performance is HEROES VS. VILLAINS!

📍The performance will take place at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center on May 23rd, following the Level 1-4 performance of Descendants after a brief intermission.

❗️Tickets are MERGED for Descendants and the CSYE Spring Dance Concert, meaning one ticket is valid for BOTH shows! All Level 1-4 students participating in Descendants are welcome to watch the Spring Dance Concert for free after their performance.

Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Summer Camp Season at JDP! 🎭

We have two fun filled weeks this coming June for rising Pre-K students to rising 8th graders!

In these summer camps, campers will:

☀️ Take part in dance, acting, and vocal classes!
☀️ Create fun crafts and play games with their friends!
☀️ Perform in an end-of-the-week presentation for friends and family to come watch!

❗️For our current JDP students that are going into 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, you can join us as Jr. LITs (more information on the second slide), but there are LIMITED SPOTS for this position! Sign up before they are gone!
