I had the privilege of capturing DJ JAYCEE ๐ŸŽง๐ŸŽค doing a little light work at the Respect The DJ Summit ๐ŸŽฅ๐ŸŽง๐Ÿ”ฅ

An elite turntablist & industry veteran, Jaycee spent 11 years as Ludacrisโ€™ official tour DJ, taking his skills to stages around the world. Heโ€™s also an Atlanta DMC Champion, two-time DMC US Finalist & Red Bull Thre3style Finalist.

From touring & radio to battling, Jaycee has put in the work. Heโ€™s also helped shape the next generation of DJs as an instructor at Scratch DJ Academy passing on his knowledge & respect for the craft.

It was dope capturing him getting busy on the turntables!

Had a chance to kick it with artist BreakA at the Respect The DJ Summit

Heโ€™s a big supporter of DJ culture & understands the role DJs play in helping artists get their music on the map. He does his due diligence, networks, hits the pavement & puts in the work.

Breaka also loves buying vinyl & has a real appreciation for the skill & art of DJing, which is why he continues to support the culture. He had some words for DJ Junebuhg & was looking forward to catching DJ J6 .

Got to kick it with Trust Mula whoโ€™s on the road pushing his new music & gearing up for the release of his upcoming mixtape dropping 10/8, but still made a point to check out the Respect The DJ Summit

He spoke about positivity & his mission to uplift the youth. Through his platform, he asks a simple but powerful question:

He reminds us that we all have a responsibility to inspire, encourage & make a positive impact on the next generation.

We also talked about how much he loves Florida ๐ŸŒด & MixSee! And shared a few words for DJ Junebuhg

A cultural force whose energy, talent, & influence have rocked crowds for decades. Andโ€ฆ..Still setting the standard.

I met this guy from NYC early 90s in VA Beach for Bike Week who said

His stages got bigger. His legacyโ€™s grown. But, heโ€™s still a student, still a teacher, still humble & still the same Kid Capri from over 25 years ago rockin partiesโ€ฆSTILL. Salute!!๐Ÿ‘‘
