We finally gave the fly tying studio the overhaul we’ve been talking about for years, and it feels so good to be making things in here.
There’s still some organizing to do (and an alarming amount of materials to find homes for), but it’s finally starting to feel like our space.
And the reading corner already has its first resident - our friend Lucas Utrera’s beautiful new book, The Art of the Trout Fly. It’s an incredible collection of flies and photography, and an amazing source of inspiration.
We’ve got a lot we want to share from this room. What would you want to see first - a full studio tour, how I organized all the materials, or a closer look at some of the weird things living on the shelves?
