I had the pleasure of meeting Archie in the last month of his life. He was an amazing man with an inspirational story. He waited on a list for 7 years hoping for an umbilical cord match but never found one. The reason... People dont know. When you give birth, its as simple as signing a sheet of paper letting the doctor take the blood from your umbilical cord. Thats all it would have taken to save Archie's life. So when you give birth, donate your cord blood.
