We are proud to present ‘Living Legacy’ — an exhibition celebrating art, freedom, and the enduring legacy of James Weldon Johnson.
Over four days, you'll encounter works that speak to identity, memory, resilience, and the stories that continue to shape us today.

Co-curated by Kezia Ouomoye and Jocelyn E. Marshall, this exhibition features artists Meclina Gomes, Kamil Peters, and Noland Anderson; alumni of the James Weldon Johnson Artist Residency. These three distinct voices are connected by a shared commitment to honoring black culture through art.
