I’ve been postponing making this post for no other reason than it breaks my heart… being forced to be on medical leave super sucks, and I was hoping to be able to work little bits during the remaining time on my lease, unfortunately it just hasn’t been possible…I am holding out hope to have a few days here and there to say goodbye/sell jewelry/finish projects etc.. but I also want to be responsible and diligent and courteous and ensure the best for my clients wants/needs for the meantime and also moving forward… SO!! **I will be referring all clients to ♥️👏🏻 —from piercing your young kiddos all the way to curating and finishing custom curations, you will all in truly superb hands with Ben. (He does offer walk-ins although appointments are preferred. He has years of experience, a beautiful collection of Jewelry, works in a in a private piercing space within a nice studio and has a heart of gold. Enjoy, have fun, and be kind to him… (he knows how important each one of you are to me and I trust you’ll be well cared for.)

Unfortunately shortly after making my last post, I had a flare up that’s requiring out of state care. Sooo now I’m headed up north and all of my work is back to being put on total and immediate hold with no idea if/when I’ll be able to continue..

In the meantime here’s an elegant and understated set up in all solid white gold. ✨
While rare, it is absolutely possible to be allergic to implant grade titanium. Sometimes discovered after medical surgical implants go wrong or sometimes it can be a learning curve, luckily, body jewelry is crafted in a number of quality metals ranging from solid gold, niobium, implant grade steel, glass or organics!

To say, ‘I love piercing’ feels so limiting because its so much deeper than that. This has been such an exuberantly rewarding 10+ years doing what I love surrounded by amazing people. ..There was no imagining myself doing anything else—so I never imagined having to say goodbye…

…as many of you know I’ve been battling health concerns; unfortunately I’ve reached the point that I need to focus 100% on my health and wellness.

Cutting to the chase:
*My piercing career is ending in 60 days. I am only going to be working 2-3 days a week with minimal hours.
…Keeping in mind I’ve had to cancel a lot of appointments recently due to my health and need to rightfully dedicate the first several days to playing catch up:
*This means we only have about 15 short piercing days left together. ♥️💔**Please understand that I will do my very best to get to you all during my last work days but I may not be able to…

…As for what’s next: I am going to grab life by the horns and travel the world with the love of my life whilst seeking better medical care overseas. Hubs & I are talking about starting a fun podcast while we travel, and I plan on getting my piercing book re-ready for public release after some final changes.

Please message for any appointments and please, please understand that I will do my very best to get to you during my last work days but I may not be able to. Please be patient, please be understanding, please be gentle.

Hi again everyone. ..Unfortunately I’ve reached a point that’s requiring me to suspend all appointments.
This means that while I do still want to reschedule everyone, I have no set date that’s safe for me to resume back yet.
Please be patient with responses, scheduling, and me.

It pains me to do this, but due to my current medical status, I am needing to immediately and drastically reduce my work...

It pains me to do this, but due to my current medical status, I am needing to immediately and drastically reduce my work schedule.
I love my job so much. I have been consistently dancing through 9-10 hour work shifts 6 days a week very happily for the last year, not realizing how much stress I was putting on my heart until it started showing signs of serious distress.
If I want to keep working (which I really do!!) I had to agree to some new “hard line” conditions that I may not bend from for the sake of my health and wellness.
I am still chiseling out the finer details but
**I will only be piercing THREE(3) days a week.
*I will be in studio an additional day to assist with changes/consults/check-ups/troubleshooting/etc// but will not be piercing that day.
*My assistant is going to start handling the majority of my incoming DMs, bookings, emails, etc. ((but I will absolutely still be at grab’s access anytime anyone wants to chat with me directly/personally!)) —There will also be some smaller amendments that my personal assistant will mention if necessary when booking appointments.
...I would like to believe that when things settle down a bit I will be able to relax the new amendments, but for now I need to accept this as my new normal…
I love and appreciate you all more than there are words for. The amount of care and concern I’ve been shown has been soul-touching and I’m humbled by the love and support you gift me with. I am going to continue working to the best of my ability, while also focusing on my well-being so please please please keep reaching out and continuing to schedule, just also please be patient and understanding that I’m in a new adjustment period that may come with possible kinks.

I appreciate everyone for their patience with me as I continue to sift my way through this medically trying time. …The last two months have been a very difficult juggling act for me both physically and mentally, and I’m unfortunately still knee deep in it. …I’m still behind on messages and appts I’ve had to remorsefully reschedule last minute, but I promise I am doing my best and will continue to respond to everyone as soon as I’m able. …to make things a bit easier for me to manage, I am going to be receiving help via a personal assist who will be soon be jointly responding to inbox and setting up appts..

I know that very suddenly I went completely silent on social media.. (and I deeply appreciate those of you who reached out as a wellness check!)
—Truthfully, I’ve had a bit of extra trouble with my heart recently. ..I experienced some close calls which have naturally required recovery time following.
This has been a huge learning curve for me and I’m still discovering what all adjustments to make, and also still learning my thresholds (which has resulted in my asking to reschedule appts last minute since I’m stubborn and don’t know my own limits until after I need a real breath lol).Please stay with me, *I do very much still intend on working, so please don’t be afraid to ask for an appt, *but also please be patient and understanding with me through this with any rescheduling.. please know I’m doing everything I can; this is a very trying time for me that hasn’t been easy. I will respond to all messages as I’m able but wanted to explain the delay the best I could while also still maintaining my own privacies.

One of my favorite things about creating custom curations is getting to know how unique each person is and being able to design them something perfectly tailored to them.
Whether it’s styling a beautiful jewelry combination or creating something a bit more literal, it’s always fun and always an absolute honor!

Side note: it really is so fascinating to watch piercing and jewelry evolve over the years—anddd booiiii lemme tell you, when I was younger and getting pierced we did NOT have anything close to what’s available these days…kids today will never understand the struggle of silver chonky rings in absolutely everything 😂 but hey, atleast all of us who got pierced decades before it was popular have a whole new world to RESTYLE with!! 👏🏻

My heart feels so full it could explode.

I love my craft and I love my clients. I really am so SO honored to be given so much full free rein by established clients as well as first-time-meet clients alike. (—Also: just know that if you give me free reign: you’re going to get chains, charms, or something dangly lol I’m obsessed.)

*These last couple years have been some of the absolute toughest of my life, in so many ways, but through all the turmoil and chaos the universe also gifted me with an incredible husband, amazing (step) children (as well as their wonderful mama who accepted me with open arms) and such genuine friends and I couldn’t be more grateful for where I am and all the support I’ve been shown.

**I’ve truly never felt more safe, happy or healthy in my life ♥️♥️♥️.I miss my parents so much (rest in peace) but I know they’re watching over and helping align this amazing deck of cards I’m holding.

I’m so grateful and love you all.
