‘Big Top: A Flying High Circus Story’ is premiering on October 9 at 7:15 pm at the Tally Film Fest!

The The FSU Flying High Circus was devastated when a tornado blew down their tent. Before they can return to shows, they must rebuild what students refer to as their “home away from home”. Their comeback story is filled with laughter, passion, and collaboration.

Tickets can be bought in advance for the Opening Night event on the Tallahassee Film Festival website. The location of this screening is Theater 1 at the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee. The short documentary will be screening as part of the Opening Night program, preceding the film Frogtown.

Let’s hear it for Sophie Peterson, winner of the Jack Haskin Award!

“Being gifted the incredible opportunity to learn and grow within the the FSU circus’ community has been a blessing. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for the coaches, cast, crew and supporters of this unique organization. It is such a gift that every day at the circus tent I am inspired and in awe of the talented people I get to call my best friends. The circus community is one of the most close knit, supportive groups I have had the pleasure of being apart of. I have grown in so many ways both mentally and physically within the circus and I am forever grateful.”
