Monsterwax Ultra-Limited Edition Trading Cards Since 1992 What really makes us different is that we produce original non-sports series on a regular basis. We're not famous.

There are plenty of bigger trading card companies, but Monsterwax is the oldest one in America to exclusively produce Non-sports cards (since 1992). It's tragic that no one else is doing so. All the corporate companies are pursuing photo sets and rarely paint anything new or different. (They stopped in the 1990s.) That's because it's time consuming and expensive to commission new art or write real

stories. They can knock out dozens of sets in the time it takes us to paint a single series. The recent "Shock Stories," for example, involved over a hundred new pieces of art and half as many original stories. It took over ten years to complete! We're not criticizing the other guys. If using Hollywood sells more cards, great. But non-sports can be much more than just promotional tie-ins for movie and tv franchises. In fact, all the best trading card classics created original art and stories. We're doing what we can to bring that tradition back. We don't rely on actor autographs or other Hollywood inserts to sell our base sets, and we only have a few releases per year. But what we lack in quantity, we make up on quality. Does Steven Spielberg Know Something We Don’t?

In the final trailer for Disclosure Day, Spielberg says that he is now much more certain than he was when he made Close Encounters of the Third Kind that we are not the only intelligent civilization in the universe.

Another striking line from him is that he once hoped these UFO and alien stories might be true, but now thinks it would be wonderful if people could actually know they are true.

"I like your products and think your the best nonsport company out there. Beautiful artwork and the limited editions make them true collectors items. I still have a set of Night Slasher cards and two full boxes. The whole story on the card backs is one of the best things about that set. I also have the Monster Movie Classics 1st series and was fortunate to have card # 39 signed on the back by Ray Harryhausen when he had an appearance at the Loews theater in Jersey City NJ.
