Scale Studies: The Atmospheric Anchor.
It is easy to get distracted by massive atmospheric shifts. We watch the pressure drop and the sky completely fracture, assuming the entire environment is in chaos. But survival operates on dual frequencies. While the macro level washes out, the micro ecosystem simply locks down its position on the grid. The underlying biological mechanics don’t panic; they just blend into the static and wait for the frequency to stabilize. You don’t always have to brace for the atmospheric drop or chase the fade. Sometimes you just have to plant your feet, hold space on the perimeter, and let the storm burn itself off.
