Turns out homes have hearts, too.

I'm now painting dreamy watercolor portraits of homes, cabins, cottages, little storefronts, old family places, and the buildings that quietly became part of your story.

The places that held birthdays. Morning coffee. First kisses. Muddy dogs. Grandparents. The ordinary magic that somehow became unforgettable.

If there's a place you'll always carry with you, I'd love to paint it.

🪾The woods don’t apologize for winter.

🤷🏻‍♀️So I guess I don’t need to apologize for summer. 🌴

Every year it slows. Folks travel. Private lessons get sparse. Art gets admired more than it’s bought. I spend my days making snacks, wiping sticky hands, painting while my little wild thing naps, and trusting that quiet seasons still grow something.

So I’m calling in some work.

I’m opening my watercolor commission list for a little summer sale.

If you’ve been carrying around a folder of photos you’ve always meant to turn into art… send them to me.

We’ll see which one has a painting hiding inside it.

And if your pockets are in a lean season too, I get it. A share, a comment, or telling a friend about my work helps this little ecosystem more than you know.

Here’s to trusting the seasons. 🌿

Playing with different media.
What are your thoughts on collage?
Or working from a collage to create a painting?

🥰Just found this pic of my sweetest little girl, Lilki, nestled up around a bunch of unfinished artwork a few years ago. Every time I paint, she has to sit right by me, like an epic art gargoyle cow kitty. 🥰

”Look, mommy- I am an art!”
