This quilt started with optimism.
Then came the white minky backing.
Then came the shifting. The fluff. All the fluff.

The realization that every surface - including me - was now lightly furred.

And yet somehow this is one of my fave finishes so far ❤️
It’s soft, lightweight, cozy, and already being fought over at home which feels like the best possible life for a quilt.

(Both 🐩 have also claimed partial ownership)

I’ve already finished more in the last three months than I finished in the last three years — and that alone has made the 52 Quilts Challenge a win so far.

Not even close.
Quilting is art and joy.
Quilting is where I slow down, breathe, take parts of some things to stitch together to make a whole.
Quilting is my therapy.
It brings me back to myself every time. ✨

Traveled home to a wonderful surprise from my secret Santa! THANK YOU LISA () for this darling mini quilt and so many additional treasures! I had such a blast participating in the Quilted Comfort & Joy Mini Quilt Swap and just adore ❤️ what my partner gifted to me. Feeling the holiday spirit! Also a big thank you to Chloe for hosting! Can’t wait to participate in another. Hope my partner likes hers too!!! 🤞
