ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END. It has been a labor of love and a true honor to have resurrected the old First Sunday Jam from Dave’s CC Club. We had a total blast! But now we must let the curtain fall and be thankful for all of the great memories we’ve made with all of the great people we’ve had the pleasure to meet and to play with. This was a truly difficult and heartfelt decision to make, but we believe we have planted a seed that will bear fruit down the road. To those who came out to any of the jams, THANK YOU!!! You made our dream come true! To Gary Anton, Bradfordville Blues Club, The RED SHED and Blue Tavern…THANK YOU!!! Thank you for giving the JJJ a place to live and breathe and spread music and joy!

Deb Berlinger and I (Chris Balding), as well as Zavian Orton and Jack Straub (a.k.a. - “The House Band”…a.k.a. JC and The Backscratchers), wish everyone peace and happiness for the coming holiday season!

The jam is this coming Sunday, 3pm - until. The usual setup, Show Up and Sign Up; full backline amps for both guitar and bass, and drum kit. To get our volume down, we are using the backline amps only. That should make it light for you; just bring your guitar and instrument cable.

This is also a call-out for a drummer to help out. I (Deb) have been sick and have 2 gigs this weekend. So another drummer to help with the day would be greatly appreciated.

What a great jam we had this past Sunday! Lots of new faces and old friends showing up! How about that super-fun set with Blue Tavern’s own Andrew Falls?! Speaking of whom, thank you Andrew and Isabel for handling “pizza duty”, in addition to providing great drink service behind the bar. You are appreciated!
