Our new fabric panels came in to help celebrate the launch of our ABC children's book! Aren't they adorable?!? 🥰

Eight new illustrations direct from our book professionally printed on easy to sew cotton fabric.

We will be putting together a few fabric bags for a special book and tote bag price. Look for those coming up, or message us to reserve yours.

A very unique and useful addition to any home or cabin. We will have more of these on the way as we work through our new designs.

All Sled Dog ABC book preorders have shipped! 🎉

📬 According to the USPS post office, you will receive your copy before Christmas. In state (Alaska) customers should already have them in hand.

If you have not received a tracking number through our email mailing system please contact us and we can look it up for you.

🏪 In person store pick ups are also available, but please message us for open times or to make an appointment. We are still battling these windy chaotic weather systems which is changing our schedule daily.

🆕 We have new products in the works!

Lots of original designs have been going from the sketch pad into the computer and through our embroidery machine.

That means testing, testing, testing all the files. Since everything we do is focused around zero waste we thought it would be a fun project to put together some useful leather bags!

Custom Alaskan art, fur accents, tough wool liner, leather shell. Not only beautiful and fun but so practical!

We just received confirmation that our books will be shipping from the publisher TOMORROW!! 🥳

We paid a bit extra for expedited shipping to make sure we get our pre-order customers filled before Christmas.

We have been a bit quiet over here for a few reasons...

- 📖 First, the back and forth conversations with the publisher for the children's book has been very time consuming but productive.

The format of the book needed quite a bit of adjusting which took some time. It's been in the printing process for a bit, we are just waiting on a ship date now and are still hoping to mail out pre-orders before Christmas.

- 🧥 In the meantime we shifted our focus to finishing up this parka many of you had seen in progress this summer.

We are happy to announce that we were successful in completing this with zero plastic, except the zipper that will be added next.

All leather, custom embroidery, wool liner, real wool quilting. Even the cuffs are hand spun, hand knit using a wool/silk blend... and if course real fur. Black bear and fox.

- 🌬️ And finally, the weather. Our area of Alaska has been hit with some monster winds and only one significant snow fall this year.

This has definitely put a damper on many of our winter plans and made our home chores take longer than usual which pulls us away from studio work.

Fortunately we haven't suffered significant damage but some repairs will be necessary this spring.

- 🗓️ We do have many updates to share with you soon. Please tell mother nature to play nice so we can get back to our 'normal' Alaskan Tough...

After weeks and weeks of sending files back and forth to our publisher we finally have ALL the bugs in the layout worked out! 🎉

This required a bit of restructuring to the illustrations on all the pages and exporting the highest quality files to ensure the best graphics possible.

Our goal is to make this publication vibrant, professional and of the highest quality all the while making sure our pre-order customers receive their copies before the Christmas season.

In the world of AI generated art and graphics, it is our utmost pleasure to assure you that each and every page was hand sketched, then redrawn and colored in the computer (also by hand).

In the coming weeks we will share a bit behind the scenes of how this process came to pass...
