Over the last week, Lofted Acre Studios has been a bit of a traveling show. We covered 1700 miles between trips to Anchorage, Fairbanks, and our home base in Talkeetna. Within that week Matt presented a demonstration and artist talk at , we delivered and sequenced Katelin’s exhibition at , fired a soda kiln, picked up 1500 lbs of clay from the docks in Anchorage and delivered an art print submission, Costco, drove back to Fairbanks for the Light + Variable opening reception, and visited the art department at . We are now on our way home to get back to work in the studios, filled with inspiration and new energy from such fantastic experiences.
We want to extend a huge thank you to folks along the way that welcomed us with open arms and attended our events. The art community in Alaska is really special and we can’t wait to see what the next season brings.
