I love using materials in the garden that will age and change. Good gardens are never static . . . and neither should the art that enlivens them. In this case, marine-grade douglas fir plywood patinas and ages. This piece has also become a nesting place for neighborhood wrens.

Carved wood, life-size dancer -- both figurative and abstract. Started with hand-sculpted wax figure. Then digitized and manipulated digitally. Components cut with CNC machine in sculptors studio. Finally assembled by hand.
