Friends of Sligo Creek was delighted to be a part of yesterday's Long Branch Festival. Our table, hosted by former President Elaine Lamirande, left, and Newsletter Editor Christine Dunathan on the right, along with current president and photographer, Ellen Maidman-Tanner, greeted many curious adults, teens and little ones. There were lots of engaging conversations about our programs, along with sign ups for membership. It felt great to support this area of our community undergoing significant urban revitalization. 🌿🌿🌿
