Congratulations to the cast of our first production of the 2026-2027 season, The Sword in the Stone! This is our annual children's theatre production, supported generously by the Tahlequah Community Fund.

We will be doing many daytime performances for elementary students and ONE EVENING PERFORMANCE on September 10th at 7PM. Tickets for the evening show are on sale now at nsuplayhouse.ludus.com. It is "name your own price" show and all proceeds will go to our Drama Foundation Scholarships!

We talked to sooooo many incoming freshmen about getting involved in NSU Drama today at the Organization Fair! We hope to see all those new faces at our Fall 2026 Info meeting on Tuesday, August 18th at 2pm!

And a big shout-out to Elijah, Ryder, Seth, Jadyn and Tony for their help with our info table today 💚🎉

NSU Drama announces its fall informational meeting next Tuesday August 18 at 2 PM. We will be talking about this years season, work call and all things NSU Drama. Immediately following the informational meeting we will hold auditions for this years children’s show, The Sword in the Stone. What do you need to prepare? Nothing! What do NSU Drama students do during the summer season??? Many of our students work with the professional summer theatre company The Official River City Players at the NSU Playhouse! This season we have 14 students working on our technical and front of house crews for the 2026 River City season. Come see their amazing work before the summer is over! nsuplayhouse.ludus.com

Congratulations to NSU Drama Junior, Elijah Ritter and a member
of the NSU Honors Program! He hosted a reading of the current draft of his honors research project, an original play script he has been working on this spring. We’re looking forward to seeing this project develop over the course of his senior year!
