I want to thank all our new for joining me on this adventure as we begin our journey through the backwoods of Green Country.

Eleven years ago, I hosted a short Q&A livestream on Facebook to talk about my experience at Rocklahoma. To my surprise, the response was incredible, and I made a promise: as long as you keep watching, I’ll keep talking. That commitment led to thousands of followers, official credentials, and eventually being named the festival’s official podcast. Since then, I’ve had the honor of covering almost every Born & Raised as well.

Today, things have come full circle. I took a chance to engage with a new community, and we just went live for the first time as the Route 918 Podcast—reaching nearly 500 organic views in the first six hours. I am truly humbled by the warm reception for a project that reaches a brand-new audience.

I’m saying to you exactly what I said to that small group over a decade ago: thank you so much for watching. I’m thrilled you enjoyed experiencing this new music with me, and as long as you keep watching, I’ll keep talking.

Until next week!
