I'm in redmond successfully now, about to paint the last prescheduled windows of the season. But I wanted to take a moment to share the chaos that tried to prevent me from painting this at the milton eye clinic today!
I posted yesterday about my work car's flat tire, however I didn't mention that costco was so busy I couldn't get it repaired yesterday. So today I'm in my normal car. It's not supposed to rain today, foe the first time in a long while and this store needed a dry day to have it apply properly. So that was the first attempted prevention.
And then today, my trusty step stool I've been using since the beginning, broke on the second step. I.e. the one step I use the most. Literally in the beginning of painting this.
I can't wait to see how this painting touches the people who see it. Apparently the message is dangerous enough that someone didn't want me to share it.

As a owner I had to jump on this bandwagon... the christmas statue... but I had to snazz it up a bit, because I'm crazy. (T-minus 20 days until I get married and I have so many other projects I'm supposed to be working on haha)

Was flying home from Dallas yesterday and have always wanted to try sketching a stranger. This lovely lady seemed like someone I'd be friends with, and her pose was so interesting I had to draw her.
I hope she liked my sketch!

Happy Memorial Day, everyone! Memorial day is a day of remembrance for all the sacrifice given for our freedoms by our men and women in service. We thank you for that service!
The memory of our loved ones, whether people or pets is something I do on the regular too. Herbert here is an adorable example of this. He loved his kicker toy and so I simply had to include it on his rock. I also found a nice heart shaped one for him too. Swipe to see his mom's reaction, and his original photo sent to me.
